Myrtle M. Kuykendall, 76, died Monday at the Riverview Rest home, Clarkston. She had been ill since suffering a stroke on July 20, 1948.

She was born at Colusa, Calif., December 11, 1872, and moved to Potlatch ridge with her parents in 1882. She was married to James Kuykendall at Leland in 1894. He was lost on Lolo pass in the winter of 1904.

In 1929, Mrs. Kuykendall moved to Kendrick. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by three sons, Benzil, Southwick, and Wayne and Allen, Kendrick; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Harrison and Mrs. Lillian T. Hill, Lewiston; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
