Priscilla E. Grossheim, age 90, of Plymouth, WI, passed away early Tuesday evening (Feb. 11).

She was born on March 15th, l923 in the Town of Rhine, WI; a daughter of the late George Schmahl Jr. and Elenore Becker.

She attended Harrison Grade School in the Town of Rhine and St. Peter and Paul Catholic Grade School in Kiel before graduating from Kiel High School in 1942.

On October 20th, l945 she married LeRoy Grossheim in Kiel, WI. The couple has resided in Plymouth Area since their marriage. Her husband preceded her in death on May 2, 1997.

She had been employed at various Cheese Companies in the Plymouth area and for 20 years at Gilson Brother Company in Plymouth where she retired in 1985.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and belonged to the Christian Mothers Society where she served as past president; was a member of the Quilting Mission Society in the church as well as a member of the Daughters of Isabella Marquette Circle.

Priscilla also belonged to the Senior Citizens Center in Plymouth where she was actively involved with the ceramics program; and, was a former Den Mother for the Plymouth Boy Scouts. She was a member of Plymouth Historical Society.

Priscilla loved to crochet and made numerous items that were donated to many worthy causes.

Survivors include: two sons: Kevin (Linda) Grossheim of Richland, MI, and Brian (Diana) Grossheim of Huntington Beach, CA; one daughter: Janet (David) Schram of Plymouth; one daughter-in-law: Ann Grossheim of Iowa City, IA; six grandchildren: Sarah (Robert) Schnettler III of Anderson, IN, Laura Schram of Sun Prairie, WI, Jennifer (Matthew) Bellingtier of Cedar Falls, IA, Ryan and Dustin Grossheim of Richland, MI and Curtis Grossheim of Huntington Beach, CA; two great grandchildren: Reagan Schnettler and Davis Bellingtier; one sister: Joyce (Robert) Feldmann of Elkhart Lake, WI and one Brother: LeRoy (Sharon) Schmahl of Plymouth .

She was preceded in death by one son, David; infant granddaughter, Brianna; and two sisters: Lorraine (Lloyd) Korb and Valeria (Frederick) Buechel; one sister-in-law: Arleen (Norman) Reichardt; one brother-in-law: Raymond (Marcy) Grossheim.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday (Feb. 18) at 12:00 Noon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Rev. Dennis Van Beek will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Kiel, WI.

Friends may call at the CHURCH from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Priscilla's name.
