KERRVILLE - Rubin H. Boos, 92, of Kerrville, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
He was the son of Harry Boos and Lisa Weirich Boos, and was born Aug. 3, 1917, in Fredericksburg.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Nemkey Boos; and a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Irven Atkinson and their son, Harland Boos. Also surviving are three sisters, Josephine Lux of Kendalia, Gertrude Hermann of New Braunfels and Mildred Boos of Austin; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Boos.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Teddy, Harry and Raymond Boos; and a sister, Norma Renfro.
Rubin worked as a rancher for many years at the Take-It-Easy Ranch. He retired and moved to town in Kerrville.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Garden of Memories Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Joshua Sullivan.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
