Mr. William J. Gilsinger Sr., 92, of Newnan, Georgia, formerly of Rapid City, SD, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013. He was born in Charleston, AR to the late Will Gilsinger and Mary Spieler Gilsinger.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Gilsinger. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and retired with Coca-Cola.

He is survived by his children, William (Bonnie) Gilsinger Jr. of Mt. Juliet, TN, Pamela (Curtis) Lohmiller of Newnan, GA, and Debora (Robert) Schofield of Layton, UT; eight grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. George Catholic Church, 771 Roscoe Road, Newnan, GA 30263.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA 30263. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. with Deacon Steve Beers officiating. Burial will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 1 p.m.
