Charles Stablein, aged 38 years, of 805 Crest Avenue, Charleroi, died at 10 o'clock Tuesday night, May 19, after a lingering illness. His condition became critical two weeks ago and steadily grew worse until his passing. The deceased was born in Charleroi and spent all of years here. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and fraternally was officiated with the Charleroi Turn Verein. His father was the late George Stablein, constable and police officer here for many years.
He leaves his mother, Mrs. Hannah (Culler) Stablein; two brothers, George, of Charleroi, and Frank, of McKeesport and two sisters, Mrs. F. J. (Opal) McGill, of Zanesville, Ohio, and Mrs. A. (Mae) Cattaneo, of Sunnyside, Monongahela.
