From his daughter Barbara: Dad's says he was born in Gallagher West Virginia. oh and he was a twin. he was born first and his sister was born second. They were born premature and when they were born they had something called Blue Baby... it has to do with the oxygen and blood not flowing in right direction in heart or lungs... I did a project on it as a child and won a ribbon for it. But dad and his sister were both live births and at some point put in a dresser drawer covered with plastic and oxygen pumped in to help them breath. Dad made it of course but his sister died the same day they were born. daddy was born at 1:20 am and her right after. Her name was Delores; she was buried somewhere near where they were living (Gallagher). Dad only talked about her around his birthday or when anyone announced a pregnancy; we all hoped for another set of twins kind of to honor him but that never happened. Other then those times he did not talk about her.
