Her name was listed immediately under that of a Col. John McClellan. Though not indicated, that proximity would seem to make her his wife, as her dates of birth and death do not match the other Mary McClellan memorial. No marker or monument for this Mary (Polly) was found, however, in September of 2013, note that there were piles of broken stones and remnants exist in the current state of the cemetery, as the photo reflects. Her monument may be among that conglomeration.
UPDATE: A special thanks to FAG Contributor Sue (#47122067) for providing additional information which confirmed that Mary "Polly" McClellan was indeed married to Col. McClellan, as well as details of her birth place and where she passed.
Also thanks to FAG contributor FranQ (#48203271) who provided information on her father. Her father was a Justice of the Peace in North Carolina circa 1780.
