Mr. I.G. Barbee, of Richlands, Onslow county, died of paralysis Tuesday, May 20, after four weeks' suffering, aged 72 years. He leaves a wife and 11 children - nine boys and two girls. Mr. Barbee was born at Chapel Hill and served through the war in the Fifth North Carolina cavalry. He moved to Richlands in 1866. Deceased was much esteemed and respected by all who knew him.
