Randy enjoyed having bbq's, listening to music and his favorite drink, wild turkey and coke. He especially loved to spend time with his grandkids and ride his bike.
He is survived by: two children, Tabatha Dawson and husband Rickey, Jr. of Henley and Chris Abbett and significant other, Ashley Holtmeyer of Iberia; six grandchildren, Lacie Storey, Lucas Abbett, Little Rickey, Samantha Dawson, Trinity Abbett and Jewel Abbett; his mother, Doris Hickey of Eldon and two brothers, Doug Abbett and wife Linda of Centertown and Tom Abbett of St. Charles.
His father and great granddaughter, Alyah Lynn Rose Slote, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, with services immediately following at 3:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Pastor Matt Harenza will officiate.
