Charles L. Dunford, husband of Marie Laffey Dunford, died last evening in Springer Convalescent Home.
Mr. Dunford was the son of Charles and Dora Oliver Dunford. Prior to his illness he had been employed at Schramms for 20 years as a sheet metal worker.
He was an active participant in local club and sporting events and was a member of St. Agnes Church, West Chester.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Joan M. wife of Wonfield S. Fryberger, Thorndale; a son David C. Dunford, a Daily Local News employe, West Chester; one grandchild, a brother, George Dunford Wilmington, Del., and four sisters, Clara O. Dunford, West Chester; Anna, wife of William Lindsey, West Chester; Mrs. Alice Garrett, Seattle, Wash., and Virginia, wife of Herbert Huber, West Chester.

Friends may call at his residence Friday evening.
