Charles Don Mounts, 58, of Cleveland Road, Washington, died at 5:25 a.m. Sunday, February 13, 2000, in his home. He had been ill since July 1999.

He was born October 19, 1941 in Prosperity, a son of Martha H. Phillips Mounts of Washington and the late Charles G. Mounts.

Mr. Mounts was a member of Living Waters Church of God, where he was an elder and an usher. He was employed at Washington Square Flower Shop. Prior to that, he was employed at Washington Groceries Association for 23 years and at Yenko Meat and Poultry Market.

Mr. Mounts was a member of Saturday Night All Star Bowling League and Y.M.C.A. Church Dartball League.

He attended Washington High School.

On August 9, I960, he married Catherine L. Miller, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter Kathryn L. Leasure of Houston; two sisters, Dora Jane Plants of Washington and Penny Lee Manning of Canonsburg; five stepbrothers, David, Ronald, James, John and William Herriott; two stepsisters, Mary Jane Rosenwald and Bonnie Moses and three grandchildren, J.C., Mary Katherine Leasure and Daniel Alan Mounts Leasure.

Deceased, in addition to his father, is his stepmother, Helen Mounts.

Interment in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, Pennsylvania.
