OXFORD – Tommy Lenay Cobb, 55, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, in Ft. Collins, Colo. He was born in Oxford to the late Vernon Lenay Cobb and Eddie Carolyn Fooshee Cobb. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was project manager for Deep South Sand and Gravel Enterprise LLC. In addition to being a hardworking provider for his family, he was a loving father, grandfather and devoted husband to his wife of more than 36 years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford with the Rev. Brian Bailey and the Rev. Jerry East officiating. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Smith Cobb of Oxford; a daughter, Karen Cobb Groner and her husband, Chris, of Oxford; a son, Thomas Andrew Cobb and his wife, Kerri, of Oxford; a sister, Cindy Cobb Estock of Southaven; two brothers, Lee Cobb and his wife, Melinda, of Oxford and Billy Cobb and his wife, Jennifer, of East Memphis, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Avery Nicole Groner, Holdan Tramel Cobb, Jaxson Myles Cobb, Kaston Eli Cobb and Ashton Brice Groner.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
