Edward Alderson, 88,
Ex-Tool Designer, Dies
Services for Edward Miles Alderson, 88, of 180 Wood St., retired tool designer and one time deacon at Park Avenue Baptist Church, will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the J. H. Finefrock and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. William Taylor, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Mansfield Cemetery.
Mr. Alderson died late Saturday in Mansfield General Hospital. He had been ailing a long time.
He was born in Asbury, W. Va. and had lived in Mansfield 65 years. He had been employed at the Dominion Electric Corp. Plant.
Survivors include a son, Robert Alderson, 606 Westview Blvd.; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Murphy, 596 Westview Blvd., a sister, Miss May Alderson, Alderson, W. Va., and one grandson.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
