He was a retired employee of the R.K. Laros Co. and the Lehigh Valley Throwing Mills.
Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late Charles and Celinda ( Reinhold) Keen. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Kite) Keen.
He was predeceased by two wives, Sarah Elizabeth (Sloyer) and Irene (Enrich) Keen.
Surviving besides his widow are four daughters, Helen, wife of John Rengert of Allentown; Mrs. Pearl Buss of Bethlehem, Mrs. Florence Wilson of Hanover Township, Northampton County, and Mrs. Joseph Ackerman of Bethlehem Township; five stepsons, Grover Trumbower of Lebanon, Paul Trumbower of Bethlehem, Ralph Trumbower of Allentown, Henry Trumbower of Hellertown and Robert Trumbower of Hanover Township, Northampton County; a stepdaughter Dorothy, wife of Herman Kashner of Bethlehem; two brothers, Victor E. of Wilkes-Barre, and Wallace E. of Nazareth; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Koopman of Bethlehem, and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Lester S. Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. Calling hours will be Tuesday evening.
