I have Reno being buried in Winner Cemetery, Winner, Tripp, South Dakota. Their cemetery records show Reno being buried there. So I am assuming that is a plot he owned. But here in this cemetery is a picture of a gravestone for Reno, also buried with his wife. I have no access to the cemetery records here.

Reno Backus graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University, at Mitchell, South Dakota, in 1921.
