PONTOTOC – Ruby Elaine Finley Tutor, 89, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born to Theodore R. and Eula Lee Todd Finley on Jan. 21, 1924, in Ashflat, Ark. She later married Warren Reed Tutor. She was a Christian, wonderful mother, homemaker and a member of Toccopola Baptist Church. She loved riding the motorcycle with her son.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gerald Finley and Bro. Donnie Finley officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, James Tutor (Jodie) of Enid and Glen Tutor of Brewer; three grandchildren, Bridget E. Tutor, James R. Tutor Jr. (Kathy) and Jeana Baumbaugh (Joseph); six great-grandchildren; one brother, O.L. Finley (Wilma) of Pontotoc; one brother-in-law, Doug Ward; one sister-in-law, Betty Finley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Reed Tutor; one daughter, Wanda Miller; two sons, Wayne Lee Tutor and Danny Keith Tutor; three sisters, Melba Smith, Erma Winters and Dell Ward; and three brothers, Marvin Finley, Jack Finley and Everett Jean Finley.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Tutor, Mark Tutor, Nathan Tutor, Sherald Finley, Bro. Donnie Finley and Delaine Finley.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today at Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home in Pontotoc.
