Tommy Wayne Shelton, 20, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at his home in Bassett.

Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville will announce arrangements.

A memorial service for Tommy Wayne Shelton, 20, of Bassett and formerly of Martinsville, who died July 12, 2008, in Bassett, will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Community Baptist Church on Airport Road, Bassett. Pastor Carson Williams will officiate.

Shelton was born in Martinsville on Jan. 10, 1988, to Walter J. Shelton Jr. of Martinsville and Rita Cochran Shelton. His mother preceded him in death.

In addition to his father, surving are a daughter, Hollie Ann Rose of Danville; two sisters, Jessica S. Marshall and Raquel S. Gillie, both of Danville; and two brothers, Walter Marshall Shelton of Spencer and Terry Shane Shelton of Princeton, W.Va.

Arrangements are by Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel.
