Mildred was a faithful member of the Blyth Road Church of Christ, and for 42 years, she and her husband owned Parsons Fence Company. Mildred had many accomplishments in her long life. First and foremost, she and her husband raised four faithful Christian children. In her early years, Mildred was a school teacher for several years. Early in their marriage, she and her husband owned a sheep farm, and a cattle ranch. Mildred also worked as a Weight Watchers leader, and in her later years she continued to work as a secretary in her youngest daughter's counseling practice.
Throughout her life, Mildred demonstrated exemplary character and a Christian example. She enjoyed meeting and talking with people. She took great pride in her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and enjoyed attending their school functions. She also enjoyed cooking meals for the entire family.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, Clyde W. Parsons; her sister and brother-in-law, William and C.J. Hailey, Sr.; and her daughter-in-law, Dana Parsons.
Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery
