ELDRIDGE, Iowa -- Services for Robert Wohlers, Sr., 67, will be 3 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, Webster City. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mr. Wohlers died Friday near LeClaire.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at Forster Funeral Home.
Nelson Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established.
He retired in 1985 as a conductor-brakeman for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, where he had been employed 25 years.
He married Loveda M. Daniels in 1944 in Cheyenne, Wyo.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a mamber pf the United Transportation Union.
He enjoyed boating, fishing and specialty gardening.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert F. Jr., Eldridge' three grandchildren' a sister, Dorothy Teska, Sioux City; and a brother, Mert Wohlers, Fresno, Calif.
