FLORIS -- Glen Hancock, 45, of Davenport, formerly of Floris, died July 5 at the Osteopathic Hospital in Davenport. The funeral was held July 8 in Bettendorf, with burial in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr Hancock was born May 1, 1930, to Harry and Iva Turner Hancock. He attended the Floris school and graduated from Bloomfield High School.
He worked at John Morrell & Company in Ottumwa before going to Davenport, where he was employed 25 years at the Davenport works of the Aluminum Company of America.
In 1950, he married Rosemary Sedore in Ottumwa. She survives as do three sons, Michael G., Martin J. and Mathew J., all of Davenport; his mother, of FLoris; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Cresap of Cedar Falls and Shirley Wilkinson of East Moline, Ill.; and four brothers, Robert and Franklin, both of Ottumwa, Osa of Davenport and Lowell of Boise, Idaho.
