Glo graduated from McDonough High School in 1986 and has lived in Southern for most of her life. She was employed as a Radiographer at St. Mary's Hospital and Southern Maryland Hospital. She enjoyed music and is known for her passionate and angelic voice and sang with the "5 North Band". Glo loved the therapeutic nature of riding with her two horses Fritz and Levy. Glo's many artistic talents were present at community events, Christmas parades, Witches Walks and gatherings with friends and family. She also was an accomplished photographer and painter.
Glo touched the lives of over 30 children and their families through her involvement as a Therapeutic Foster Parent. She became a Health Coach for Take Shape for Life while achieving her own weight loss of 120 lbs. She played a huge role towards the success of family and friends with their personal health journeys. She enjoyed riding on motorcycles and was a member of Hughesville's All American Harley-Davidson HOG chapter.
Glo was a member of Real Life Ministries of Mechanicsville, MD and is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Eugene Beauvais, her parents, her step father, Charles Dean Hayes, and her brother-in-law, Joe Beauvais.
Arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD, 20622.
The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering and Service at New Life Church, of White Plains, MD, Saturday, October 19, receiving friends at 9 a.m. with the service starting at 11 a.m., following with a reception at the Bel Alton Firehouse.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Glo Beauvais Memorial Fund. Donations can be made at any PNC bank locations or sent to 30560 Chappelear Drive, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
