Helen Carnell Adams, age 86, of El Paso, Arkansas, was born December 1, 1920, at Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, to Oley V. and Jessie Nelson Harlan, and she passed away Thursday, May 10, 2007. She was a devout member of Oak Church of Christ at El Paso and was retired from a job she loved at Conway Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Adams; a son, Ricky Adams, her parents and a brother, Frank Harlan.

Survivors are her daughters, Arbra Dell Boardman and her husband, Jud of Cabot and Jan Mathis of El Paso; three granddaughters, Alisie Rock and Teresa French of Cabot, Jennifer Mathis and her finance, Trey Wulf of Sherwood; three great-grandchildren; her brothers, C.L. "Buck" Harlan of Mt. Vernon and Joe Harlan of Adairville, Kentucky, and her sister, Mary Hill of Ward, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a loving person and will be missed by all.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Oak Church of Christ, El Paso with burial in Blasingame Cemetery.
