Patsy Jean Gibson, age 63, of Sneedville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 with her children by her side. She was saved at an early age and was a member of The Holiness Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Gibson Sr.; parents, George Alfred II and Rose Lee Robey; sister, Phyllis Jean Robey and grandson, Wayne Robert Rich Jr.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Jean (Roger) Mullins, Tammy Jo (Gary) Nichols and Fred Allen (Rhonda) Gibson Jr.; her grandchildren, Samantha (Mark) Carroll, Jennifer "Jennypop" Rich, Matthew Gibson and Ryan Lawson; great-granddaughter, Jordyn Carroll; siblings, George (Connie) Robey III, Vivian (Frank) Day and Charlott (Donnie) Lease; stepmother, Rosalee Day; a stepbrother and two stepsisters; several nieces, nephews and friends; two very special caregivers, Kristen Denim and Lindsey Stewart and several caring nurses at Morristown Hamblen Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Goins Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. J. R. South officiating.
Interment will follow in the Goins Chapel Church Cemetery
