Margaret (Esancy) Curtis died 23 Aug 1864 and is buried with her first husband, John Stanley (or Standley), an Englishman, at Miller Cemetery, Burkettville, Appleton, Maine.
"Her second husband David/Davis Curtis was married twice before. Margaret [also Margret and Peggy] was the eldest daughter of Henry Esancy, the Hessian soldier. Her daughter, Margaret Curtis [also given as Mary Ann Curtis in both Appleton and Liberty Vital Records] married Isaac Collamore and res. in Washington [ME] on the George Bowes farm. The first Margaret and David/Davis Curtis were married July 13, 1843 in Appleton."
