The following obituary was published in the Waynesburg Republican, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania:
"Gail Hunnell, 67, of Brave, died Friday, October 27, 1989, in his home.
"He was born April 15, 1922, in Greene County, a son of Oscar and Myrtle Braden Hunnell.
"He was a veteran of World War II and a retired employee of Sterling Faucet Co. in Morgantown, W. Va.
"Mr. Hunnell was a member of Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Co. and Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461.
"Surviving are three stepsons, George Black of Rockville, Md., and William Black and John Black, both of Holbrook; five stepdaughters, Mary Jean Moore of Spraggs, Sara Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio, Karen Stuyvesant of Belmont, W. Va., Joan Stewart of Brave and Colleen Darling of Pentress, W. Va.; a brother, Wayne Hunnell of Wana, W. Va.; 20 step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased."
The following funeral notice was also published:
"Friends of Gail Hunnell of Brave, who died Friday, October 27, 1989, will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 PM Saturday in Owen Funeral Home, Blacksville, W. Va., where services will be held at 1 PM Sunday, October 29, with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs Jr. officiating. Burial in Olive Cemetery."
