HILGENBERG, WILLIAM FRANK (Age 65)

MR. HILGENBERG died of Cancer at Loch Raven Veterans Hospital, on Wednesday, May 3, 1978, he leaves to mourn his sudden illness and death his wife Lynn and his granddaughter GiGi Gibson, of the home, his daughter Mrs. Patricia Sumner, and his step-daughter Jeannie Martin, he is also survived by his 90 year old mother, Mrs. Anna Hilgenberg and eight devoted and loving brothers and sisters, Adolph, Albert, Edward, Lindy, and John Hilgenberg. Mrs. Margaret Musgrove, Mrs. Annie Anderson and Mrs. Louise Divver. Mr. Hilgenberg is a World War II, Navy Veteran and he recently retired from 30 years of service with Briggs-Wilson Industries in Landover, Md., he was a lifelong sports enthusiast and leaves many more friends and relatives in the Washington Metropolitan area. The funeral will be conducted by The Rev. Father Travis at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Londontowne, and The Rev. Rudy Weidler will speak. Mrs. Weidler and Mrs. Leona Dove will witness the music on Saturday, May 6, at 8:45 a.m. The remains will rest at The HARDESTY FUNERAL HOME, GALESVILLE, MD., and Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, in Washington, D.C. The Hilgenberg family will welcome fellowship with friends at their beach cottage, 1637 Shady Side Drive, Londontowne, after graveside services. Visiting hours 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, at THE HARDESTY FUNERAL HOME, Galesville, Md. Rosary services at 8 p.m. on Friday.
