ELMER N DIEFENTHALER

Elmer N. Diefenthaler, 81, 601 Tenth St., Kiel, died Saturday afternoon at the home of his daughter in Kohler.
He was born Feb. 21, 1905, in Kiel, a son of the late William and Amelia Petzold Diefenthaler. He attended St. Ann Catholic School in St. Anna. On April 21, 1937 he married Lorena Theresa Weber in Marytown. She died December 10, 1986. Mr. Diefenthaler worked at the Kohler Co., retiring in 1970. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel, and a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Delores) Rach of Kohler and Mrs. Wallace (Sylvia) Ramminger of Plymouth; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, William of Kiel, Harold of New Holstein and Roland of Manitowoc; and one sister, Mrs. Norma Jorgenson of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his twin sister.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel, with the Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
