Dean Bennett, Lyndon Station passed away at his home November 3, 1950, at the age of 43 years and 11 days.

He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Claude Bennett at Mauston October 23, 1907. He lived with his parents until his marriage to Frieda Birkholz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Birkholz of Wisconsin Dells. To this union was born five children and one adopted son.

For the last nine years they have made their home on a farm near Lyndon Station.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Frieda, five sons, Robert, 20, Virgil, 16, Bernard, 14, Charles, 12, Marvin, 6, and one daughter Delores, 9, all at home.

He leaves also his mother, Mrs. Claude Bennett, 81, of Mauston. His father preceded him in death September 19, 1950, also one brother and one sister preceded him in death.

The living brothers are Wesely of Sturdevant, Willard, of Wisconsin Rapids, Donald of New Lisbon, and five sisters, Fern, Mrs. Frank Rulalnd of Mauston, Berniece, Mrs. Fred Robbins, at home, Alice, Mrs. Wm. Pharo of Waukegan, Adele, Mrs. Earl Peterson of New Lisbon and Thelma, Mrs. Charles Davis of Camp Douglas.

Funeral services were held from Conway’s Funeral Home at 1:30 Monday afternoon, November 6th, with Rev. E. Smukal officiating. Interment was made in the Lyndon Station cemetery.

Many relatives and friends were present from Sparta, Wilton, Tomah, Camp Douglas, New Lisbon, Mauston, Reedsburg, Sun Prairie, Richland Center, Sturdevant, Madison, Wisconsin Rapids, Wonewoc, Wisconsin Dells and Illinois.
