A Marie Henschel, 85, a former Kiel resident died Saturday evening, Dec. 29, 2001 at the Calumet Homestead and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where she had resided the past year.
She is the former Marie Lulloff born Jan 17, 1916, daughter of the late Fred and Mary Kusterman Lulloff. She was a graduate of Kiel High School. On Oct. 5, 1937, she married Clarence "Henna" Henschel at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Kiel. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1991. Marie was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and the Christian Women's Society.
She enjoyed bowling in many leagues and attended many postal conventions with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include two sons, Fred (Barbara) Henschel, Plymouth, Tim (Jan) Henschel, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three sisters, Monica Manz, Toni (Willard) Schnur all of Kiel, and Eleanor Helfert, Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alex, Alfred and Fred Lulloff; one son, William and one grandson.
Funeral Mass will be at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Loren Nys SDS officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
