Mrs. Parks a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Opal Franks; her husband, Jessie "Shorty" Parks; brother T.F. Franks; and Mary Parks.
She is survived by her two daughters: Julie Dalgo and her husband Ronald Evergreen; Jamie Brouillette of Hesser; one son, Ralph Roland and his wife Beryl of Plaucheville; and a very special niece Glenda Daniels of Winnsboro; one brother Charlie O. Franks of Monroe; sisters: Nora Ogden of Columbia, Irene Daniels of Winnsboro, and Ruby Franks of Ruston; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
