Lady Dies
Mrs. Melvetia McLeland Succumbs
at Home of Son In Boone Township
Mrs. Melvetia McLeland, 74, succumbed
Thursday afternoon at 4:30
o'clock at the home of her son,
George, in Boone township. Death
fallowed two strokes of paralysis,
the first suffered a year ago and
the second about two weeks ago.
Survivors are the son; two
daughters, Mrs. Russell Million,
White county; Mrs. Ted Gorman,
Burnettsville; four grandchildren;
two sisters, Mrs. Intha Kelley, of
Laporte; Mrs. Idella Price, of Chicago;
three brothers, William A.
Galbreath, Albuquerque, New Mexico;
Charles and D. D. both of
Burnettsville.
Funeral rites will be conducted
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the residence and at 2:30 o'clock
from the Brethren church in
Burnettsville. Interment will be
made in the Davis cemetery. Funeral
arrangements are in charge
of the Easterday funeral home.
