Anna Croco England

Anna E. Croco England, 87, Topeka, died Saturday, May 23, 1998, at a Topeka retirement home.
She was born March 12, 1911, near Perry, to John L. and Anna S. Upton Croco, and spent most of her life in Topeka. She was a graduate of Bethany College in Topeka and was a bookkeeper for the Harry Imes auto dealership until 1935.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a kindergarten Sunday school teacher many years. She was a member of the Greater Temple Class at the church and attended the Flo V. Menninger Bible Study Course.
She had been an officer in the Parent-Teacher Association at the former Lincoln Elementary School at 504 Madison.

She was married to Lester J. England March 22, 1935. He died Jan. 6, 1997.
Survivors include a son, John England, Topeka; a grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. England will not lie in state.
