Deceased Name: Mary F. Bellis

DWIGHT - The funeral of Mary F. Bellis, 88, of O'Fallon, Mo., formerly of Dwight, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dwight. Father James Rickey will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Odell.

Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. today at VonQualen-Harris Funeral Home, Dwight.

She died at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 20, 1999) at Gardenview Nursing Home, O'Fallon.

Memorials may be made to the family or to the Parkinson's Disease Association.

Mrs. Bellis was born Sept. 6, 1910, in rural Ford County, the daughter of Louis and Anna Abry Duay. She married Andrew Bellis on Dec. 6, 1928, in Streator. He died Aug. 13, 1990.

Survivors include eight daughters, Rosemary (Tom) Brown, St. Peters, Mo.; Debbie Eno, Aurora; Judy (Norm) Lewis and Catherine Riccolo, both of Dwight; Dolores (Willard) Maxson, Chatsworth; Barbara (Jim) Pettit, Quincy; Theresa Pinkston, Tamarac, Fla.; and Peggy Agamy, Manhattan; five sons, Gene (Elaine) Bellis, Streator; John (Vickie) Bellis, Racine, Wis.; Larry Bellis, Clawson, Mich.; Mike Bellis, Bradley; and Richard (Darlene) Bellis, Libertyville; one sister, Marguarite Lebo, Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Earl Duay, Washington; 35 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Her parents; one brother, Louis Duay; and one grandson, Randy Bellis, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bellis was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church; Dwight V.F.W. Auxiliary; and Dwight Senior Citizen's Club.
