CULVER, JAMES S., 98, died October 13, 2013. He was a native of Corydon, KY, a retired employee of the old Henry Vogt Machine Company, a Marine veteran of World War II, a charter member of Wildwood Country Club, and an avid and accomplished golfer and bowler. He is survived by his wife the former Margaret Strickland; daughter, Elaine Welsh; grandsons, Brad and Eric Welsh; a half-brother, Dorris O'Nan; and an extended loving family. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
