On October 2, 1962 he married Virginia Orosco in Wapato WA. Later they were divorced but found their way back to each other and remarried in May of 1981. He made his home in Roosevelt, WA for several years. He worked for the aluminum plant near Goldendale until it closed and then worked for Rabanco.
In 2008 he and his wife moved to the Grandview/Sunnyside area due to health issues. Cliff loved to fish and spend time with family and friends.
Cliff is survived by his wife Virginia of Grandview, one daughter Cindy Evans of Olympia and one son Craig (Janet) Hicks of Sunnyside. Two grandchildren Levi and Aaron and two "Surrogate" grandchildren Bailie and Ryan Johnson and his sister Virginia Schoonover of Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
His life will be celebrated by a memorial at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.
