Dallas Lloyd Glaze was the sixth child, fifth son of Lee Temple & Cora Lovevilla "Myers" Glaze. He was born in Cimarron and was raised on farms near Cimmarron, Gill (Clay County), Foote (Gray County) and again in Cimarron. He graduated from Cimarron High School where he played football. After his graduation he moved to Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas where he worked with one of his brothers at a filling station.

Dallas met and married Inez Winnifred Foulke on 20 Feb 1938 at the home of Inez's Uncle Sherman Montgomery in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas. They had four daughters:
1. Beverly Ann Glaze
2. Barbara Jean Glaze
3. Marjorie May Glaze
4. Margaret Marie Glaze

Dallas & Inez divorced in Dec. 1944 and with permission of Dallas and the court she was allowed to marry on 12 Jan 1945.

Dallas remarried on 8 May 1945 to Anna Mildred Marquis in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.

Dallas worked for D.D. Richards and became a part owner. They opened a store in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma about 1950 and soon moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma. Dallas & Anna moved their to manage the store.

Dallas returned to Topeka in 1962 at which time he started his own fire extinguisher business called EKan Fire Equipment. He sold the business about 1983 and retired. He loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening. He and Anna took a long trip in 1984 to the West Coast to visit his living siblings.

He fought emphazema for a number of years and he died 19 Jul 1991 just three weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
