Memorial service for Etta Christine Erickson, 94, will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Troy Lutheran Church in Troy, Idaho. Private burial will follow at the Dry Creek Cemetery. Short's Funeral Chapel in Moscow is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Erickson, who was born in Dry Creek near Troy, died Saturday.

She was raised in Dry Creek and attended the country school there.

She was a lifetime Troy resident until moving to Moscow seven years ago.

Mrs. Erickson enjoyed singing, sewing, picking huckleberries, and hosting Scandinavian coffee parties. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of the Troy Lutheran Church. She was also active in church women's groups. She was a former member of the Rebekkahs and the Dry Creek Welfare Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Eldoris Hunter of Troy; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Troy Fire Department.
