Mrs Mary C. Arthur, 77 years old, 1913 Ruckle street, the widow of John Arthur, died Thursday at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Arthur was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Flower Mission and an officer of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Frances DeVine, two sisters, Miss Margaret O'Connor and Mrs. Catherine Curran. A son, Capt. William J. Arthur, died while on detached duty with the Indiana National Guard in the Evansville flood several years ago.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 o'clock this morning at the residence and 9 o'clock in SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral, with burial in Holy Dross Cemetery.
