According to researcher Barbara Kirkland, a letter has been seen from Dorothy Ledbetter in which she stated "my mother [Annie Jones] was about four years old when her mother Nancy Emily died and eleven years old when her father John Andrew died." This would give a death year of about 1889 for Nancy (Curry) Roy-Jones.
