Rosalie Stevens, 82, of Pearl, MS passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at Hospice Ministries,Inc. in Ridgeland surrounded by her loving family and friends. Funeral services are at 2pm Sunday, October 13, 2013, in Chapel at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Branden. Visitation 5pm-7pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home located in Brandon. Interment will be in Cato Cemetery, Cato, MS.

Rosalie was born February 18, 1931 in Vicksburg, MS. Graduated from Pearl High School where she played basketball. Rosalie's life covered a wide geographic reach living in the states of Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alaska. She worshiped with Churches of Christ in all these locations. Rosalie served several companies as bookkeeper. She started her own sewing business The Finishing Touch and published a book on alterations in 1989.

She was preceded in death by sister, Frances Yarborough, and brothers: Earl Stevens, Elton Stevens, Marshall Stevens, and
Marion Stevens.

She is survived by daughters: Vanessa Ewing (Fred) TN and Yvonne Shotts (Buddy) Cato, MS; 3 grandchildren, Amy Carruth (Larry) Brandon, MS, Kim Owen (Jon) TN, and Michael Ewing (Beth) TN, and 4 great grandchildren, Kaylee Carruth of Brandon, MS, Sofia and Beatrice Owen and Landon Ewing of TN.
