Aged 50 years, 4 months, and 27 days. He removed to this state in 1819 where his social manners, his kind and generous feeling and his integrity of motive and conduct endeared him to a numerous acquaintance. A good citizen, a faithful and ardent friend, and affectionate parent, a kind husband and a humane master. He left this world with an abiding hope and firm belief of enjoying happiness beyond the skies. He was respected and esteemed in life and lamented in death by his relations and an extensive circle of friends. This testimony of his virtures and her loss - erected by his bereaved widow.
