Funeral services were held in Bethlehem church on Monday afternoon, December 24, for Ole Karsten Folden, former resident of this community, who passed away at International Falls.
Ole Karsten Folden was born in Newfolden Township on December 1, 1886. There he spent his childhood and grew to manhood on the farm of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Folden, pioneer residents of this community. In 1915, Karsten, as he was called, obtained work and moved to International Falls where he made his home until he passed away on Tuesday, December 18 at the age of 59 years and 18 days.
