BAMBERG - Services for Viola Pate Graham, 69, of 656 Broxton Bridge Rd., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cooner Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Joe Murphy. Burial will be in South End Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 this evening at Cooner Funeral Home in Bamberg.
Mrs. Graham, widow of the late Murdock Graham Jr., died Monday, November 19, 2001, in Hampton Regional Medical Center in Varnville. Born July 2, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Pate and Edna Tyndall Pate Fowler. She was a homemaker and retired from Graham's Grocery.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Ray Pate and Shirley Hiott Pate of Bamberg; brother, Douglas Pate of Bamberg; sisters, Elsie Williams of Bamberg, Charity Todd Dark of Sanford, N.C., Edith Tucker of McColl, Lily Mae Bowens of McColl; granddaughters, Christy Pate Kinsey of Bamberg, Julie Pate Ulmer of Bamberg; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Shaye Kirkland of Bamberg, Joshua and Brandon Kinsey of Bamberg. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Goff; sons, Elbert Pate and Harold Pate.
