John Byrne, b. 5 February 1886 – d. 20 November 1955 married Hattie Louanne Tittle, b. 23 November 1887 – d. 11 February 1976 on the 5th of January 1908 in Granville, Tennessee. Their 9 children were born at this place, and they resided there until December, 1937 when they moved to Hendersonville, Sumner County, Tennessee. They later purchased a dairy farm two miles north of Gallatin, Tennessee. The younger children, John Marvin, Anna Sue, and Herman helped them run the dairy farm. Only one of the daughters continues to live in Jackson County. She taught school at Granville Elementary school, married and reared her family there. Five of the daughters were school teachers, the others children were in other businesses).
