Obit: Iven C. Johnson, 86, formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday, July 3, 1990, in Whitney, Texas. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. John Foley officiating. Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Mr. Johnson was born June 4, 1904, in Callaway County to Samuel and Belle Moreau Johnson. On Jan. 3, 1931, he married Lila Ruth Nichols in Jefferson City, and she survives. He farmed in Boone County before his employment as a groundskeeper at the University of Missouri-Columbia. After his retirement from UMC he moved to Texas. Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Hazel Gullatt of Clifton, Texas; a brother, Christian Johnson of Hallsville; and two sisters, Frances McDonnell and Betty Quisenberry, both of Columbia
