Former Wisconsin resident, John R. Carle, 71, died September 20, 2013, at his home in Bishopville, South Carolina.Mr. Carle was born November 18, 1941, in Phelps, Wisconsin, to Richard Carle and Virginia St. Louis Carle. John graduated from Wausau Senior High School in 1961, then attended UW Marathon County Extension. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the UW Madison and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dayton. He received additional training in the computer science field. John worked as a buyer for the Air Force during the Viet Nam war and was later employed as a computer program specialist for various insurance and software companies.He enjoyed the outdoors; loved walking, planting trees, backpacking, fishing, hunting, reading and telling stories. John is survived by his brother Gary (wife Mary), Weston Wisconsin, a niece and two nephews and their families, and several cousins.
Burial will be in St. Agnes Parish Cemetery.
