George Grazier, Jr., 46, of Home Avenue died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's Hospital, St. Louis, where he had been a patient 19 days. Mr. Grazier, an Edwardsville resident the past six years by the Granite City Steel Co.
Born March 7, 1917 at Thurber, Tex., he was the son of the late George H. and Mary Birodick Grazier. He was married to Lois Merry on Nov. 25, 1957 in this city.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are five brothers and a sister, John H. and Edward of Edwardsville, William, Robert L. of Washington, D.C., James and Mrs. Samuel (Elizabeth) Story, both of Pekin.
Mr. Grazier was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1561.
Friends may call at the Weber funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home Friday, 2 p.m. The Rev. Heuda Gaines of General Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
