Kenneth "Toad" Vaughan, 58, Barnett, died Thursday at St. Mary's Health Center. He was born Feb 20, 1937, in Miller County, a son of Oval and Blanche Moneymaker Vaughan.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a lifelong resident of Miller County, and he owned and operated TNT Pest Control and Tree Service. He was a member of the Bible Way church, Eldon, the Buffalo Club and the American Quarterhorse Association.
Survivors include: three daughters, Tina Cain, Barnett, Doris Renee Wood, Sedalia, and Rita Marriott, Eldon; five sisters, Kathy Irwin and Carolyn Allen, both of Eldon, Esther Marriott, Jefferson City, Ernestine Dinwiddie, Lake Ozark, and Eileen Bishop, Olean; three brothers, Cecil Keeth, Kansas City, Wayne Vaughan, Eldon, and Verlin Keeth, Lincoln; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Danny Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
