Linda Faye Roach, 71, of Corinth, Mississippi, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Mrs. Roach was formerly employed for thirteen years at ITT. She later worked as a bookkeeper for her father's business, Parker Sawmill and Pallet Shop. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family on their waterfront lots in Savannah, TN. She had three special dogs, Cody, Sissy, and Sassy.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-three years, Donald Wayne Roach; her mother, Velma Kiddy Parker; one son, Scotty Roach (Dottie); three daughters, Phyllis Cummings (Rickey), Sherry Kennedy (Jeff), and Janis Kennedy (Greg); four brothers, Butch Parker (Linda), Tommy Parker (Patty), Brodie Parker (Renetta), and Sammy Parker; two sisters, Becky Marlar (Jerry) and Rose Scott; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Parker; an infant sister, Bonnie Parker; her grandparents, Eber and Leta Kiddy, and Tom and Nuel Parker; and a brother-in-law, John Scott.
Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Warren Jones and Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Parker Cemetery.
