Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Wednesday, February 26, 1908: "Died at the Hospital--Mr. Thomas Jack, brother of Mr. William Jack, the veteran base ball player, aged 46 years, died at the Western Maryland Hospital Tuesday night from an illness of three weeks from pneumonia. He was taken to the hospital last Friday. The deceased leaves four children residing in Frostburg. His wife died eight years ago. The remains will taken to Frostburg today by Undertaker Haffner. The funeral will take place Thursday morning at 9 a.m. from St. Michael's Catholic church. Interment in St. Michael's cemetery." (Courtesy of Pat Dailey)
